Tricia Holman is a free-spirited dog breeder from Salem, Oregon. She is 37, and has been raising champion Shelties and Smooth Collies since 1989. Her puppies are 100% guaranteed by her, and she will take them back at any age if their family is unable to keep them for any reason! I’d say that’s going above and beyond the call of duty.
Tricia is an extremely busy lady. In addition to breeding award winning dogs, she is the primary caregiver for her father and her 24-year old sister Siri, who was born with an extremely rare (1 in 1,000,000) chromosome abnormality. After losing her mother to cancer in 1999, Tricia bravely stepped in and now runs the household. If her schedule and a tough economy permit (jobs are definitely getting scarcer!), Tricia does various office and courier jobs around town as well. All of this while living with her own health issues! Tricia must navigate her event-packed days dealing with scoliosis and arthritis. She doesn’t let any of this get her positive spirit down, and I admire her so much for that! Tricia loves cooking, and in addition to all of the daily meals around the house she bakes for frequent family gatherings. She is a big fan of card games and board games, and her family has Dinner and Games Night every Friday.
With such a packed life, Tricia still finds time to follow “How to Be a Better Restaurant Customer”. Yay!! I appreciate her support, and I’m honored that such a busy person finds time to read my blog. Tricia confesses to a fascination with waitresses and the restaurant industry, and she wonders if perhaps she was a waitress in a past life? Lol! Who knows, but one thing is for sure, with such a sweet, nurturing nature, Tricia would make an excellent waitress. Such an awesome lady! Tricia Holman, the Veteran Server is a huge fan of yours! Thanks for reading! God bless.
